Activation instruction

To finish setting up Prefixbox AI Search Modules on your Shopify store, please follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Select “Sales channels” > “Online store” on the lefthand navigation bar.

2. Under “Themes”, duplicate your store’s active theme.

   

3. After the duplication is complete, click “Customize”.

   

4. Go back to the Prefixbox application and select “Activate modules”.

5. Select the theme you previously duplicated, then click the “Activate” button. The application will redirect you and will automatically activate Prefixbox AI Search and Prefixbox Prefixbox Category Pages, then hide the Shopify default search and product grid on collection pages. Please save changes.

   

Deactivation instructions

1. Customize the theme where Prefixbox AI Search was previously activated.

   If you are not sure where the Prefixbox modules are currently active, please go to Prefixbox AI Search and select “Activate modules” from the top menu. From the dropdown, select “theme” and then select the theme to deactivate the Prefixbox modules.

   

2. Go to the theme where the modules are active and click ‘App Embed’ on the left-hand navigation bar to deactivate the selected modules.
